The HR & Accounts Executive will play a crucial role in both the human resources and finance departments. This dual-function position requires managing essential HR and financial tasks to support strategic business goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, managing recruitment and employee engagement, and assist in financial operations including accounts payable/receivable and financial reporting. This role demands a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What will I be doing?

Human Resource:

  • HR Strategy and Initiatives: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals. Coordinate the execution of key HR initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • HR Operations, Leave, and Payroll: Manage all aspects of HR operations, including leave management, payroll processing, and maintaining accurate employee records. Ensure smooth onboarding and exit processes for employees.
  • Manpower Planning and Recruitment: Engage in manpower planning with line managers to ensure timely and strategic recruitment. Facilitate relationships with tertiary institutions for internships and oversee the recruitment process.
  • Employee Engagement and Relations: Implement initiatives to maintain high employee engagement and handle HR matters such as performance appraisals, promotions, re/appointments, and contract renewals.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: Act as a liaison with governmental and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with employment laws and capitalize on growth opportunities.

 

Accounts:

  • Accounts Receivable/Payable: Assist in managing accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and comply with financial policies.
  • Reporting:Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, manage quarterly GST filings, and ensure accurate financial closings.
  • Claims and Reimbursements: Assist in processing and manage employee claims and reimbursements, ensuring they comply with company policies and are executed promptly.

What is required of me?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong capabilities in both HR and finance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proactive and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • • High level of integrity and reliability.
